Olive Tree continues to be the best "serious" (professional) iPhone Bible app.

I love the easy modern English reading. As for the app itself, reading plans, font size and ribbons I use regularly and those features are a delight. Selecting a reading in "Go To" is wonderful for it begins the chapter and verse at the upper left corner every time. This is a great way to read the Bible or to read along as a pastor reads the selection. I have floaters and the light from the screen, large print and white on black screen selected makes reading much less stress. Try it and youll love it.

I think this app is a well thought out and has a very vicar UI. The more you us it the more "powerful" it gets. I appreciate being able to view and run two versions of the bible at the same time. It deserves 5 Stars... But I didnt like the notes feature maybe I need to dig a bit deeper and work it out a bit more. Great app well worth every cent !

If the other translations are often to grasp the Message Bible is an great way to digest Gods Words and a better understanding!!!

Continuously updated and made easy to use. Great features like split window. A variety of translations and resources used by many denominations. Keep up the good work! Greg

One of the most readable bibles ever.

Theres nothing I can say except...theres no excuses for anyone to accuse the Bible of being to dense to understand...not anymore! Eugene Petersons translation is written in colloquial American English. Buy it.

This version of Olive Trees Message Bible + is without a doubt my favorite of all Bible apps Ive ever used. I have downloaded numerous translations, study notes, dictionaries, and commentaries and maps. It simplifies my sermon prep and study beyond measure. Im sure Ive but scratched the surface of the fabulous Bible study app and look forward to new discoveries as i move forward. Thanks Olive Tree!

Dont buy it; the latest "improvement" will not open. Ditto for NSRV.

Cant believe they release a version that doesnt work. Fix it

I have used this app for years and I love it but its not working right now. The app wont open. Please fix it. I need this bible

This was a good app! What happened?? It wont even open now.

Use to be my favorite app, and I was on it daily. Now it will not open since the new update!!!!! I deleted it and re-installed it and it STILL doesnt work! I want my 10.00 back!

Change for the sake of change. A new fresh look. Update. On and on. My paper Bible never got that... Give me back v.5, please. Ill even pay for it again. Why change the page scroll from bottom up, as it was (logical in a numerical list, such as Bible verses), to right to left? BTW, other parts of the app still scroll bottom up. Hm, must be OK, after all. Where are the lower case alpha characters that instantly provided reference to a word or term? That *was* my favorite part of this app! Why remove the previous right margin justification? Centering the text is inefficient and just looks silly. Its not a greeting card, its a book. Im weary of change just to call it better. It isnt better.

While this is not my favorite version of the Bible, it does present Scripture in current day English. For a person who has just begun their walk with The Lord, this would be a great way to start studying Scripture.
